What to expect from treatment with implant retained dentures

Once we have established your suitability for treatment at an initial consultation, we can start the first stage of treatment. We will take photographs, a CT scan and X-rays of your teeth, which provide the basis for the design of your dentures. These will also aid us in accurately pinpointing the areas the implants will be surgically placed in your mouth. We will surgically place the dental implants and leave them to fuse with your jawbone over a period of months. As dental implants are made from titanium, they’re biocompatible and make themselves at home in your mouth, mimicking the presence of a real tooth root. Once this process is complete, we can invite you back to have your dentures placed securely over the top of your implants.

If you currently have conventional dentures, we can adapt them to become implant-supported dentures.
